Louis Dunn “I Am What I Ate” Louis Dunn is a San Francisco Bay Area artist/designer whose work enlivens books, newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, and posters. He has worked as a designer and illustrator at a number of publications and is an award winning art director most recently at the Los Angeles Times. Before settling down to the drawing board he roamed the Midwest, West, and Pacific Coast, working as a truck driver, shipping clerk, editor, day laborer, photographer, carpenter, and dock hand, eating at more or less regular intervals. These drawings are from “I Am What I Ate,” a work in progress. His wife and daughter describe his kitchen efforts as “promising.” More drawings can be seen at louisdunn.com
