Food Walking Tour & Writing Workshop, New York City, October 29-31, 2010
On Halloween weekend, Alimentum editors Esther Cohen and Paulette Licitra led a group of writers through the hidden gems of New York's neighborhoods, exploring the ways that food and words inspire each other.
Our itinerary:
FRIDAY
Drinks at Grand Central's Campbell Apartment; Subway to Jackson Heights, Queens; Dinner at the Dosa Place
SATURDAY
Coffee at Manhattan's Cupcake Cafe; Subway to Flushing, Queens; Flushing Asian Food Shops; Hindu Temple & Lunch in their Canteen; Dinner at a Henan restaurant
SUNDAY
Meet at Musuem of Chinese in America; Lunch at Red Egg
