Lee Shropshire met Andy Scheinman, her husband of nearly twenty years, in Nashville, TN where they combined their talents of guitar playing and vocals and formed the band, Eight O' Five Jive. It was early in their relationship when Lee discovered that Andy's culinary preferences were limited to pasta or rice, combined with asparagus, broccoli, or spinach. She wrote the song, "Ripe Tomatoes," to celebrate his unique perspective on food and life. There may be no other love song quite like it.
