Alimentum celebrates the literature and art of food.  We welcome work from like-minded writers, musicians, and artists.  To ensure that your submissions reach us, please read the following information.

Fiction & Nonfiction

Reading for fiction and nonfiction opens on October 15th. We are seeking short form food-related fiction and nonfiction appropriate for our online journal. Please send pieces under 2,000 words. We do not consider previously published work. Simultaneous submissions accepted. Fiction and nonfiction submissions are accepted via snail mail. Please include an SASE for a response and allow three months. Send to:

Poetry

Our reading period for poetry opens on September 15th. We seek food-related poems. Please limit your submission to five poems. We are also looking for recipe poems (a poem you can cook to) preferably with a picture of the finished dish. We do not consider previously published work. Simultaneous submissions accepted. Poetry submissions are accepted via snail mail. Please include an SASE for a response and allow three months. Send to:

Book Reviews

Writers interested in proposing reviews—or authors/publishers/publicists with books they would like reviewed—may send an inquiry to our Book Review Editor, Eric LeMay, at eric[at]alimentumjournal[dot]com. Links to writing samples are welcome.

Music

Musicians with great songs about food may contact our Music Editor, Duane Spencer, at MusicEditor[at]alimentumjournal[dot]com. Rights must be owned or controlled by the submitter. Thanks!

Artwork, Video, and other Multimedia Work
